Victory Academy in Portland, OR is Oregon’s only full-time year-round school for students with autism. Having a nephew with Asperger’s, I knew immediately this would be one of my most important clients.
Victory Academy has outgrown their current facility, having to turn away as many as half their applicants.
In 2013, they kicked off a capital campaign to raise $5 million to build a new facility that would more than double their capacity.
The school’s logo uses a traditional academic shield with icons representing the most important elements of the school and learning. The capital campaign logo pulls the book from the parent logo and turns it into a building of learning, a metaphor for what the capital campaign will accomplish once fully funded.
The brochure explains Autism, its challenges, and its explosive growth, and how Victory Academy crafts teaching to reach these special students. The inserts show off the floor plans for the new building and naming opportunities for the capital campaign.
