As an intern at Dalton Agency my senior year at Flagler College, I had the unique opportunity to participate in (and win) a tournament-style competition within the agency to design the 2005 season tickets for the Jacksonville Jaguars, our hometown NFL team.
For the Jacksonville Jaguars’ season tickets, it was important to convey energy and aggression. However, the game of football poses an inherent conundrum: “How do you say winning, without guaranteeing a win?”
The solution was simple: use the logo to devour the competition.
The Jaguars ended the 2005 season with a record of 12-5, after losing the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.
