To promote Downtown Jacksonville as a cultural hotbed and heart of the city, Wingard Creative developed the campaign, “Downtown is on Fire.” Always working to provide client more for less, Wingard Creative looked to the creative team for voice talent for a series of radio ads.

Never one to say, “That’s not part of my job,” and harboring a not-so-secret love for public speaking, I jumped on the opportunity to audition and record the series of spots, focusing on food, arts and culture, and family-friendly activities.

The radio spots run in the Jacksonville metro area beginning Labor Day weekend throughout Fall 2013. The, “You have a face for radio,” jokes will run for a lifetime.
